FVL Friends Dinner moved to February 2021

Post-publication update

The FVL Friends Dinner scheduled for February has been canceled for the 2020-21 year due to COVID issues.

Watch for news on reviving this popular evening in 2021-22!

Plans for the October 2020 FVL Friends Dinner were underway until COVID cases in the Fox Valley area began to spike. For the safety and health of all involved, it was decided to postpone this annual event to February 10, 2021.

As was announced last year in the Legacy, this year’s Friends Dinner is going to build on the past and expand to reach even more of the FVL family. If it is possible with COVID restrictions, we will be renting the entire Liberty Hall with room for 300 friends. Seats will be available to our Federation, alumni, and parents on a first-come, first-served basis.

For planning, we’ll be asking those who wish to attend to RSVP with a suggested $10 donation to reserve their spot. It’s a way we can open invitations to everyone who might want to attend and be sure we can make table and meal arrangements.

The program will include inspiring stories of ministry from FVL. It will also feature the announcement of our annual Heart of a Servant awards as we recognize FVL friends and leaders now and from the past.

The evening will also be a great opportunity to meet FVL’s new Mission Advancement Director Jay Wendland and to receive an update from FVL President Jeff Loberger.

The FVL Friends Dinner has become a wonderful annual event to celebrate the partnership of the FVL family. The school now has nearly 8,000 graduates—plus many other supporters and donors. It’s important for us to keep sharing the good news of what the Lord is doing on our campus and beyond.

The date will be Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Watch for details as the time approaches. We look forward to having you join us for this special night!
