The lessons Ben Grady (Class of 2023) learned at FVL didn't end at graduation. His story reflects a commitment to leadership, service, and keeping Christ at the center of all he does.

For years, faithful support through Giving Day has helped FVL meet mortgage obligations and even pay off a bond ahead of schedule. Now, a new matching gift opportunity is helping pave the way for additional classrooms and the next generation of students. 

From a neon pink paper labeled "Airline Pilot" to receiving a national Sky Pioneer Award, Class of 2007's Erin Roesler's journey reflects the power of curiosity, perseverance, and a vision that took flight.

We celebrate four dedicated workers who have each served in ministry for 40 years: Julie Detjen, Dave Kolander, Phil Stern, and Rev. David Wenzel. 

What began as a short-term position became nearly 17 years of faithful service. As Krista Davis (Class of 1984) prepares for retirement, she reflects on God's guidance, the blessings of serving at FVL, and the importance of trusting his plans—even when they lead somewhere unexpected.

Campus is busy with upgrades this summer, from expanding our Student Success rooms to new flooring to updating our current Family And Consumer Education room into a Culinary Arts space. 

Our photo flashback is now focused on cocurriculars--including both athletics and activities. We are continuing with highlight photos of FVL theatre and the Sound And Lights Team (SALT) since the 1950s!
