In Memoriam

Mr. Jerry Lee Gronholz was born on October 13, 1939, and was called home to heaven on October 4, 2024. During his life of ministry, he spent 22 years (1977 to 2000) as a teacher at FVL, where he taught religion and English and coached JV basketball. Additionally, Mr. Gronholz started and developed the golf programs for both boys and girls. He also served in Milwaukee, WI; Two Rivers, WI; and La Crosse, WI.

We thank God for Mr. Gronholz’s years of service to Fox Valley Lutheran and to the gospel ministry, and we find comfort in the words of Jesus: “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life" John 5:24.
