and a Look Ahead to 2025

Over the past six-and-a-half years, the annual mortgage/interest payment has been made on time. Not only have your generous gifts supported the needed payment to pay off Bond "A" last fall, but extra gifts allowed us to get an early start on Bond "B." These extra gifts have already helped to reduce interest fees on Bond "B."

We are now looking to pay the current five-year-bond, Bond "B," three years early. Early payment (by October of 2025) will come with two significant financial benefits for the Federation. 

1. It will save nearly $35,000 in interest payments over the remainder of the current structured Bond "B." 
2. It will provide the capability to shop for an additional note toward a potential building expansion (if approved) to address a growing enrollment. 

Responsible Stewardship

Our current facility is expected to exceed capacity by the fall of 2028; therefore, a classroom and locker expansion project would need to begin sometime during the 2026-2027 school year. Having the ability to explore all options of a new loan would put the Federation in the best position to be good stewards of an ever-changing financial landscape and to utilize various banks, government bonds, and other potential lending options to best serve the financial needs of our high school. 

Our sixth mortgage payment of $475,000 comes due on October 31. For our seventh mortgage payment in 2025, we are looking to pay $875,000 to facilitate the early retirement of Bond "B."

Giving Day is an important part of helping us reach the financial goals of the next 16 months.
